Ajit Yadav photoAjit Yadav International Travel Grant

LAPC 2016 is pleased to announce the Ajit Yadav International Travel Grant in memory of a dear colleague and friend.  Ajit was a PhD student at the School of Electronic, Electrical and Systems Engineering at Loughborough University.  His research lay in the field of reconfigurable antennas.  Ajit was a tenacious researcher dedicated to his work and was particularly adept at seeking out travel grants to fund his trips to conferences.  He also contributed passionately and tirelessly to the organisation and running of past Loughborough Antennas and Propagation Conferences.  Therefore, this travel grant is a fitting tribute to his time at Loughborough.

In order to be eligible for the grant award, the candidate must:

  1. Be a registered full time PhD student at the time of the conference.
  2. Be the first author of a full paper that has been accepted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
  3. Be a member of an educational institution (for example, University) located outside the European Economic Area.
  4. Register with full payment and attend the conference in person to present his/her poster.
  5. Attend the banquet in order to be presented with the grant.
  6. Have the full support of his/her academic supervisor/advisor.
  7. Fill in the application form and return it to [email protected] before the closing date

The total value of the grant is £400 and will be reimbursed to the student (or the nominated sponsor) once the student arrives at the conference.
